     Frederic (Fred) Hilger was born in 1809 at Luxembourg.1 He married Anna Margaret Neu, daughter of Claudius Neu and Johanna Weiler, on 10 September 1833 at Nospelt, Kehlen, Capellen, Luxembourg.1 Frederic (Fred) Hilger immigrated on 24 April 1872 to New York, New York; aboard the Cuba from Liverpool, England. Age 64, traveling with his sons Michael (34) and Nicholas (23) and daughter Anna (25). He is a farmer.1 He was a retired farmer. This is the home of his son Nicholas. in 1880 at Big Lick Township, Hancock, Ohio.1,2 He died in 1892 at Chippewa, Wisconsin.1
