April spent three wonderful days visiting us at our new home in Cape Coral, FL. We had a great time. She had an early flight and we picked her up at SW Regional Airport in Ft. Myers on Tuesday, January 17, from there it was to Harley Davidson then lunch at Annie's followed by a drive through Sanibel and Captiva.   That evening we hosted an Open House with all our local friends -- a good time was had by all and I couldn't have managed without April's help! Thank you, Lovebug. 

Wednesday April and Felix took a 2.5 mile sunrise walk around the neighborhood and after lunch we headed to the Naples-Ft. Myers Greyhound Track for the afternoon. What a fun time we had watching and betting on the poochies. First time for all of us at the dog track. Thursday April and I went to spin class at Gold's Gym. She says she has a new appreciation for seniors on wheels!! After lunch we took a boat ride to Cape Harbour to get fuel and had lunch at Rumrunners ---mmmmm Grilled Triple Tail with spinach/gorgonzola sauce.   We went through the lock and tooled around a bit in the area looking for manatees in the mangroves. We saw one, but couldn't get very close. We cruised through the canals and saw dolphin. Evenings we just relaxed and caught up on the news. 

Friday morning came too soon for my liking and we headed back to the airport to say goodbye. Bittersweet for sure. I'm missing my baby!! Come back -- bring others!!  xoxo
