Section: Obituaries Posted: 5/16/2007 James Schriner James Jay Schriner, 89, formerly of Valleyview Drive, Bellevue, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at Bellevue Care Center. He was born July 18, 1917, in Marywood, the son of Joseph and Catherine (Ausberger) Schriner. His wife, Evelyn L. (Vickery) Schriner, whom he married Oct. 8, 1949, at Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Marjorie Stockmaster of Bellevue; a grandson; and a sister, Hilda Daniel of Willard. His parents; two brothers, Lawrence and Andrew Schriner; two sisters, Dorothy and Margaret Daniel; and a son-in-law also preceded him in death. Jay served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007, with the rosary recited at 7:45 p.m. at Foos and Son Funeral Home, 311 W. Main St., Bellevue. A funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2007, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
