Mrs. Raifsnider was born on Sept. 18, 1929 in Reedtown, Ohio to the late Anthony and Magaline (Scherley) Stockmaster. She attended Thompson Schools and was a member of the First Brethren Church; the Clyde Eagles and MOOSE Auxiliaries and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Nascar. She also enjoyed Bingo. Mrs. Raifsnider was a LPN at the former Colvin Nursing Home and then retired in 1994 from the Bellevue Hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Rose Raifsnider of Clyde; three sons; Charles (Alice) Raifsnider, Centerburg, Ohio; and Dale Raifsnider and Garry (Connie) Raifsnider, all of Clyde. Eight grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren and one sister, Gertrude Snyder of Bellevue also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raifsnider, whom she married on January 22, 1949 and he died on March 28, 1989; a grandson, John; sisters: Clara Hiller; Esther Heishman and Lillian Durst; and brothers, William Stockmaster; Leo Stockmaster and Robert Stockmaster. Visitation: Mon., Dec. 3, 2007 from 10 AM until the service at NOON on Monday, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde. The Rev. Ed Miller will officiate.
