GENEVIEVE M. VanNESS
  A funeral Mass has been scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick
Catholic Church for Genevieve M. Van Ness, 79, of 525 N. Mad River, who died
Friday, May 6, in Mary Rutan Hospital.
  A native of Fremont, she was born Aug. 19, 1908, a daughter of William A.
and Elsie C. Deer Krupp.  On Aug. 27, 1938, she married Paul C. Van Ness, who
preceded her in death on May 19, 1974.
  A legal secretary and member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia at St.
Patrick, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Herb (Kaye) Couchman of
Bellefontaine and Mrs. Boyd (Nancy) Flynn of West Carrollton; four
grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters, Elsie J. Hoffman and Arlene
"Tooty" Bohling, both of Port Clinton; and one brother, Kenneth Krupp of Port
Clinton.
  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Richard Krupp.
  The Rev. Donald Shelander will officiate and burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery.  Friends may call today from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. at
Eichholtz Funeral Home where the St. Vincent de Paul Society will recite the
rosary at 4:45.
