Nancy came from MD and I came from NJ to meet in Altoona after 46 years! We had a great time catching up with Patty, Mary and Edee. WE had dinner at the Altoona Hotel -- pizza of course -- and lots of laughs with Patty. I visited my dear former neighbor, Bob, at the Vets Home, Joyce at her Graystone apartment, my dear friends, the Noonans who have a brand new grandson, and of course, my siblings, Girard and Bonnie and Gretchen and their families. No pix of Joyce (she would not allow it) and none of Gretchen and her family or the Noonans (I did not have my camera --- arrrghhhh!). Of course I had to stop at 211 West Southey -- my childhood home which is now an Allstate office and parking lot, then drove up Coleridge past Milanie's and Molly and Becky's houses. Later, Girard and I started up 18th Street to visit Gary in Fallen Timber, but had to turn back at Skyline Drive because of the heavy snow and fog. It was a wonderfully fun weekend despite that freak pre-Halloween Nor'Easter snow storm. I had hoped to head south before seeing one snowflake this year -- what a surprise!! Thanks to all for such a fun visit. Let's do it again!!!
